SANA: Explosion at Syrian Army Site South of Aleppo

Al-Taj News – An explosion occurred at one of the Syrian army’s sites near the town of al-Eis, south of Aleppo, on Sunday-Monday night, amid official warnings against approaching or heading to the site of the explosions, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The head of Civil Defense operations in Aleppo, Faisal Mohammed Ali, said that the ongoing explosions in the al-Eis area south of Aleppo are hindering the arrival of ambulance and rescue teams at the site.

He confirmed that ambulance and emergency teams and hospitals are on standby, noting that the relevant authorities are monitoring the situation on the ground and dealing with any emergency.

Earlier, SANA reported hearing a loud explosion in the al-Eis area south of Aleppo without identifying its cause, but it later clarified that the explosion occurred at one of the Syrian army’s sites near the town of al-Eis, south of Aleppo.
